Privacy policy

Cognitive AppDev ("we") handles personal information as follows. The Japanese version of this policy is authoritative.

1. Information we collect

Through the contact form, orders, agreements and chat, we receive your name, company, email address, phone number and the content of your inquiry.

Card details are handled directly by our payment provider (Stripe). We never store them.

To see whether a client-specific proposal page has been viewed, and to prevent abuse, we may record the IP address, browser and OS/device information, timestamp and referrer. This information may be delivered to us as email through Resend and Telegram notifications.

2. How we use it

We use personal information only for the following purposes.

  • Replying to inquiries and contacting you
  • Quotes, agreements, delivery and billing
  • Maintaining and supporting systems we delivered
  • Checking whether proposal pages have been viewed
  • Preventing misuse

3. Sharing with third parties

We do not share personal information with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

4. Service providers

We use the following services to run our business. Some of them are companies outside Japan.

  • Vercel (website hosting)
  • Neon (database)
  • Resend (email delivery)
  • Stripe (payments)
  • LINE (messages through LINE official accounts)
  • Telegram (notifications to us)

5. Security

We protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss and leaks with measures such as encrypted connections and access control.

6. Cookies and similar technology

This site does not use cookies for advertising or analytics. It may use your browser’s local storage to remember your language and chat session.

7. Access, correction and deletion

If you ask us to disclose, correct, stop using or delete your personal information, we will respond promptly after confirming your identity. Please use the contact below.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Changes take effect when published on this page.
